Introducing Stella Spencer, an experienced artist and jewelry designer based in Berwickshire, Scotland. With over 15 years of crafting experience, Stella's creative journey started with tuition from a self-taught artisan, eventually leading her to formal design training.
Stella's artistry draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of her local landscapes and the vibrant Scottish culture. Each piece she crafts tells a unique story, reflecting not only her skill but also the essence of her surroundings. Explore the world of Rawfiche, where passion meets craftsmanship, and Scottish heritage comes to life in every meticulously handcrafted creation.
Hej! Here’s everything you might want to know if you’re a Swedish customer interested in Rawfiche jewellery.
Not just yet – but I’m working on it! Due to the chaos that is post-Brexit red tape, I’m currently unable to ship directly to Sweden or sell through EU-based platforms. But the dream is very much alive.
If I’m able to ship directly to Sweden in the future, you’ll pay the same prices as UK customers – the only extra cost will be postage (and possibly customs/VAT, depending on how Sweden handles it at the time).
If I partner with a Swedish stockist, they’ll set their own prices – but I’ll do my best to offer them great value so that retail prices stay as affordable as possible.
Because Brexit. It’s not just about stamps and bubble wrap – it’s about legal hurdles, customs declarations, VAT nightmares, and a whole pile of admin that makes sending a £15 necklace into the EU surprisingly difficult. I promise I’m not being difficult on purpose.
That’s the plan! I spend my summers pootling along Swedish coastlines (I’m married to a Swede!) and I’d love to do some small events and pop-ups in the future. Follow me on social media for updates on when and where I might appear.
Yes! I collect it myself from the Baltic shores and Stockholm archipelago. It’s used in my special SweGlass range – featuring rare Scandinavian finds crafted into unique, small-batch jewellery. No two pieces are ever the same.
Not yet – but I’d love to! If you run a shop in Sweden and have an import licence (or are curious about how to get one), please get in touch. I’m eager to find ways to bring Rawfiche across the North Sea and into local hands.
Always. Every Rawfiche piece is made by me, in Scotland, using seaglass collected by hand. Nothing is mass-produced, nothing is drop-shipped, and everything has a story behind it – whether it washed up in Berwickshire or by the Baltic.
That’s the long-term dream – a cosy coastal shop filled with Rawfiche jewellery, my own artwork, and handcrafted goods from other local creatives. One day!
