Shop Online
Hello lovely folks!
Just a quick update from me at Rawfiche HQ — the webshop is going offline for orders until August.
Why? Because this is my busiest season for in-person events. Most of my jewellery and art is travelling with me or out at events. I want to make sure my in-person events are stocked to the brim with everything I offer l. So for now, the online shop is browse-only, and I’ll reopen for sales once everything settles down after the summer flurry of markets.
Another change you’ll notice when I return is how I describe rings. In the past, I’ve called some rings “adjustable,” but honestly? That’s a bit of a misnomer. Most of my adjustable rings are designed to comfortably fit UK average finger sizes (L–Q) — basically your three main fingers. While you can squeeze them open or closed a little, going too far (whether to fit very small or larger fingers) risks:
Bending the metal in ways it can’t recover from
Compromising the design layout
Damaging the plating on the ring
Making the ring uncomfortable or fragile
So I’m no longer calling them adjustable — instead, on the webshop I’ll clearly list the approximate size range each one fits, and if you're buying in person, you're always welcome to try them on.
I get a lot of lovely questions and requests, so here’s a quick roundup of things I’m not currently offering — not because I don’t want to, but because of practicality and cost:
I don’t offer engraving. I’m simply not set up for it — the tools required are expensive and not compatible with how I currently work. If that ever changes, I’ll shout about it!
I’ve had requests for septum rings, cartilage studs, and other types of body jewellery — and while I love the idea, it’s not something I’m able to offer right now. Why? Because:
The materials need to meet high industry-grade standards (usually titanium or surgical steel)
I’d need to invest in specific tools and buy large batches without samples — and that’s not viable for me at the moment
That said, I do occasionally have a few sterling silver belly button bars with seaglass, and there’s currently one left in stock. These are a fun side experiment but not a full product range.
Thank you as always for supporting Rawfiche — I’m a one-woman show juggling stock, design, markets, photography, websites, tax returns, a full time job, and the occasional cat disaster. I hope this helps explain a few of the decisions I’ve made lately.

Big shifts are happening behind the scenes at Rawfiche! After gradually stepping away from copper since 2022, I’ve now fully retired all copper-based jewellery from my collections. This means you’ll start to see more designs made with sterling silver, stainless steel, brass, and Zamac—materials that offer better durability, less tarnishing, and more allergy-friendly options.
Well… copper’s been lovely, but it hasn’t always loved me back! After years of working closely with it, I’ve developed a mild sensitivity—not something that affects most wearers, but enough to make me rethink my materials. Add to that the way copper tarnishes, plus the fiddly business of product labelling for small brands like mine, and it became clear it was time for a fresh start.
But don’t worry—the sparkle isn’t going anywhere.
In fact, it’s only getting better! I’m leaning into brass (which gives that gorgeous warm glow), experimenting with new designs in aluminium and stainless steel, and expanding my sterling silver range—including some lovely affordable silver wire-wrapped pendants.
My Sterling Silver wrapped wire pendants have even had a little price drop to make them more affordable!
A few lines are saying their final goodbyes:
Chunky square & rectangle bangles
Select £5 seaglass rings
Some hair accessories
Raw copper jewellery (a few pieces left!)
Copper based wrapped wire pendants and earrings
⚠️ Only a handful of copper-based designs remain—including a few Scottish seaglass and Swedish seaglass pendants. These are now sale-only items, available exclusively at select events or if you visit the Rawfiche studio. The only ones on the website right now are the copper set shown above!
Keep an eye on the Sale Box at fairs—once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Thank you for coming on this journey with me as Rawfiche evolves. I can’t wait to share what’s next 💚

1. Will prices change with new metals?
Some materials, like sterling silver, cost a little more—but I always aim to keep Rawfiche jewellery accessible, with a good mix of price points.
2. What if my copper jewellery tarnishes?
It’s normal! A soft cloth and dry storage work wonders. Visit our Care page for more tips.
3. I love the look of copper—will anything similar be back?
While I'm stepping away from copper in my main collections, you'll still see that beautiful warm glow in other materials! I’ll be introducing new styles in bronze, bronzed brass, Zamac, and even rose gold-plated finishes—all offering that fresh, bright coppery look you love. And if you're after something specific, I'm still open to taking on raw copper commissions by request. (Gloves on!)
4. Will Rawfiche designs still feel unique?
Absolutely. Perhaps even more so than before, since I started creating with copper wire back in the olden days (Aka 2007) a lot of other jewellers have now started doing wrapped wire pendants. I've been gradually shifting to something a little different since 2021. You’ve likely already seen lots of pieces made from brass, Zamac, and stainless steel without realising! Almost everything on my table, at events and in shops from 2024 onwards has been made with Zinc Alloy, Brass, Sterling Silver or Stainless Steel.
5. I have sensitive skin—what can I wear?
All Rawfiche jewellery is nickel-free. Brass and stainless steel are both great hypoallergenic options. Still unsure? I’m always happy to guide you. From 2025, you will find almost all my new jewellery includes an allergen label either on the box or the packaging, I will also be removing copper based findings e.g. hooks and chains from my work moving forward. Although I still have quite a few available so I will still offer them to those who don't have sensitive skin!
6. What’s the risk of metal allergies?
Here’s a quick rundown:
Nickel – The most common allergy (17% of women, 3% of men) (Me included!)
Copper – Reactions are rare
Brass – Usually low-risk, though sensitive folks may react due to the copper content
Sterling Silver – Hypoallergenic and safe for most
Stainless Steel – Safe for most.
Zamac / Zinc Alloy – Nickel-free and allergy-friendly, though specific data is limited.
On the 17th February 2024, on a cold but beautifully crisp Swedish morning we said "Ja" or "I do" to each other, in Sollentuna, where my husband grew up.
This was a perfect moment for us both, surrounded by closest family members and friends who could make it, we where only allowed 15 people maximum, and only a limited number of my family had been able to make it. My parents, my bridesmaid and her husband and her Mum joined us.
